Nice to meet you! Ss: Good morning Miss Wang! Nice to meet you too. T: How are you? Ss: Very well, thank you. T: Oh, you’re welcome! And I have a question for you, do you remember ABC song? Ss may not know what’s the ABC song, I’ll sing first “a b c d ...”and Ss will understand and sing with T. After the song,listen to the tape. 听字母的发音，要求学生跟读。 T: Let’s listen to the tape. Please follow the tape! 二、 Presentation Listen to the tape. 师生共同完成let’s chant.将全班同学分成AB两组，并鼓励学生：open your mouth and follow me. Your good behavior will gain your group a star. PPT出示字母U u，教师领读（跟录音或课件读，规范读音，先入为主)。 T: Do you know how to read this letter? Some Ss may read U. T: eh, look at my mouth,look at my hand. And follow me. U U U. (Here I’ll make a model for Ss and make the sign of U with my hand.) 用肢体语言来表示字母的形（或找人体字母象形图给学生看） （音、形有机结合）边做动作边读：uuu 出示umbrella的图片（课件），学生会说出是雨伞，由此引出单词umbrella，umbrella读音有难度，可以利用单词拆分的方法来进行学习：uuu，/?//?//?/，um-bre-lla，umbrella。这个单词即使拆分，还会有的学生读漏某一部分，所以可以教学生用手指来数音素。 T: Look at the picture.What’s this?
