Feeding CharacteristicsThe table results located in the Feeding Characteristics folder supply you with information about feeding phenomena within the casting system.Each line of a Feeding Characteristics table corresponds to a solidification simulation result, so that the lines’ contents are listed chronologically.There are two separate kinds of table available:Casting Feeding Characteristics shows summarized feeding information for the complete Cast Alloy material class (casting system).Feeding Characteristics for each individual feeder shows information for this particular feeder.Open the Feeding Characteristics folder and double click on the desired result. The following is shown:Time: Time of measuring all values (minutes and seconds)Fraction Solid: Percentage of solidified melt within the castingShrinkage: Part of the melt that is shrunken and fed consequently (% and kg)Niyama: Minimum Niyama value within the casting.
