Abs tract: The objective of this studywas to exam ine the telomerase activity in early embryo cloned from
somatic cells ofYanbian cattle by real- tmi e PCR. The resultswere as follows: the telom erase activity in mi
mature oocytewas higher, that of 2- cell~ 16- cell is lower than that of the others(P 0. 05). T elomerase
activity increased significantly in themorula stage (P 0. 05), the highestwas in the blastocyst stage.
