Ss answer the questions of exercise 1. Read by themselves. Then read one by one. Ss look at the pictures and answer the teacher’s questions. Sudents may answer: we should raise some money for them. maybe we can send some old but clean clothes to them. I will give them some interesting books. I will save some pocket money. So I can buy them some beautiful clothes. I can write a letter to them. Encourage them to study hard.
