What do you think of Disneyland? Is it wonderful? Can you say something about it? Step 2 Presentation 1. Use the words to describe Disneyland. Wonderful, colourful, meaningful Explain we add ‘-ful’to nouns to form adjectives. The suffix ‘-ful’ means ‘full of’ or ‘having the quality of’. Let the Ss list more words with ‘-ful’. E.g. helpful useful, beautiful, careful, etc. 2. Say do you think English is useful? Surely it is useful. Do you think watching too much TV is useful? Surely it is useless. Explain we add ‘-less’to nouns to form adjectives. The suffix ‘-less’ means ‘without’ or ‘not having the quality of’. Let the Ss list more words.
