Slides. 教 学 过 程 教 学 内 容 个案调整 教师主导活动 学生主体 活动 Step 1 Revision Ask some questions about Reading. Kitty and her parents went to Hong Kong Disneyland. What did they see? What did they do there? What do you think of Disneyland? Is it wonderful? Can you say something about it? Step 2 Presentation 1. Use the words to describe Disneyland. Wonderful, colourful, meaningful Explain we add ‘-ful’to nouns to form adjectives. The suffix ‘-ful’ means ‘full of’ or ‘having the quality of’. Let the Ss list more words with ‘-ful’. E.g. helpful useful, beautiful, careful, etc. 2. Say do you think English is useful? Surely it is useful. Do you think watching too much TV is useful? Surely it is useless. Explain we add ‘-less’to nouns to form adjectives. The suffix ‘-less’ means ‘without’ or ‘not having the quality of’. Let the Ss list more words. Let the Ss go through the table on Page30. Read the words. Explain ‘harmful’ is opposite to ‘harmless’. We can add ‘-ful’ and ‘-less’ to a noun to form a pair of opposites. Step 3 Practice 1. Let the Ss do the exercise in Part A. cheer –cheerful –cheerless colour – colourful –colourless care – careful – careless delight – delightful end – endless hope – hopeful – hopeless meaning – meaningful – meaningless noise – noiseless wonder – wonderful success – successful Let the Ss read the words. 2. Let the Ss close their books and give the adjectives and th
