B. His new friend and her brother.
3rd reading
Ask Ss to read the email to complete the information about Lin Xinxin and her brother. (Worksheet Ex.I)
Ask Ss to check the answers in pairs by asking and answering the following questions.
How old is Xinxin/Yangyang?
Where is she/he from?
Ask Ss to listen to the tape.
Then read the text after the tape.

Ask Ss to Work in pairs. Role-play you and Jim. Make a dialogue to get the information about Jim and Xinxin or Yangyang .
