* In the next few slides we will review some of the basic benefits of utilizing color. In this slide, we have a complex assembly printed in one color, white. With this geometry, it is difficult to determine the different components or how many parts make up the assembly. * With full color, it is much easier to identify the various components. The full color version provides the users with much more information. * All drawings have a part label, why not apply that to every 3D Printed part. Z Corporation’s systems now allow this to be easily done in the software prior to printing. * Markup features give you the ability to call out changes that have been made to each revision of a design or to call out changes that are not easy to identify. * What has changed here? * The changes are clearly visible when they can be highlighted or marked up. * With color, models can be created to help in manufacturing and production planning. On the left, we have a full engine casting package, with different color designating different components. On the right, we have a part that will require finish machining.
