Activity 2: Practice in pairs with the cards. Two pairs as demonstration; Involving all the students; (T checks and facilitates) Some pairs perform at the front. Activity 3: Phonics practice T begins with revision of the sounds learned; T demonstrates explicitly; Children repeat accurately. Activity 4: Say the words. Encourage Ss to read out on their own. Let the imitate after the tape. Activity 7: Listen and tick Enable children to distinguish the sounds. If the guess is right, the team get ten points. Activity 9: Listen and chant: Listen first. Repeat accurately; Play the tape. Activity 10: Make your own chant Encourage children to work in teams; Assessing their work. Activity 11: Say and write Oral practice first; Write neatly; Check the spelling.
