Eddy Current Sensor(ECS) isan nondestructive testing component，which isappliedextensivelyinengineeringandscienceresearches.However,thetesting performancesaresensitivetothematerialproperties(suchasresistivityρandrelative permeabilityμr),whichhamperseddycurrentsensorappliedmoreconvenientlyand extensively.So,itisnecessaryandimportanttostudyontheelectromagnetic propertiesofECS.FiniteElementMethodandExperimentsareadoptedinthisthesis tostudytheelectromagneticpropertiesofECS.Theresearchworkconductedis outlined as following.Theory studies ontheelectromagnetic properties of ECSBasedonfoundationalprincipalsandequivalentcircuitofECS,effectsthatthe relativeparameters(suchastestingdistance,frequencyetc.)tothepropertiesofECS are addressed.Study on the electromagnetic modeling ofECSBasedonthemodelingtheoryofFEMandtheelectromagneticfoundational theory,thefiniteelementmodelisbuiltbysimplifyingappropriatelytheoriginal model,selectingtheelementtype,meshinganddefiningtheboundaryconditions. Then,themodelissolved,andtheresultfromanalysisiscomparedwiththatfromthe works homeand aboard,which strengthens the validity of themodel.Finite element analysis of theelectromagnetic properties of ECSTheeffectofthetestedmaterialparameters,testingdistance,coilshapeand frequencytothepropertiesofECSareaddressedindetailandrespectivelyinthe thesis.TheruleoftheelectromagneticfieldofECSandeddyfieldoftestedare studied under every factors.Study on the relativity of tested materialand ECSAtpresent,ECSobtainstherelationshipoftheoutputvoltageandthetesting distancebycontrollingtheequivalentimpedance.Inthethesis,therelativityoftested materialandECSisstudiedbycontrollingtherealpartandtheimagepartofthe impedance of the coil.The innovations of the thesis mainly includefollowing aspects:TheeffectsofthetestingdistanceandfrequencytothepropertiesofECSare reasoned out.ThemodelingmethodoftheelectromagneticanalysisofECSisformed, which can provide some references to others.TheeffectsoftheparameterstothepropertiesofECSare
