Considering Zhejiang provinces special background ，making use of gentle hillside is an effective way of figuring out the land shortage problem. As most cities are accustomed to the plain sconstruction pattem ，how to design buildings on the gentIe hillside is becominga new research task. This paper selects the slope condition as the dominant clue， combineswiththesocietydevelopmentandthechangeinmankinds requirements and analyses the inherent relation between condition ，architectureand mankind ，and the factors influenced the architecturaI form ，then sum ar?ses the histological morphology types suit to the landform ，further，discusses thenew ways to express and design the architectural form on the premise of scientific and ecologic，and analyses the actual cases.
