AbstractCloudstorageisbasedoncloudcomputing,isthe extension of Distributed Computing、Parallel ComputingandGridComputing.Itissomehowthesameascloudcomputing,theyconsolidateall storagedevicesbythefeatureslikeclusterapplication,gridtechnologyanddistributedfilesystem.Fortheenduser,thecloudstorageisnottheconcretedevice,it’saservice,whichcanprovidedata access.The core of the cloud storage is the combinationofapplicationandstoragedevices.Inmany ofthecloudcomputingplatform,theopensourceprojectofHadoophascousedwidepublic concern.TheHDFS(HadoopDistributedFileSystem)isoneofthecorecomponentofHadoop whichstudycloudstoragetechnology.HDFShastheadvantageofhighreliability,strongscalability and low cost which makeit one of the hot topics in the research of cloud storge.ThispaperresearchescloudstoragetechnologybasedonHDFS,discussestheimprovement mechanismofHDFSaccordingtothecharacteristicofheterogeneityincloudstorage.Firstly,HDFS considersnodefailureasnormalcyandprovidesthefaultnodedetectionmechanism,buthasn’t make the most use of the historical data.This paperbuildsatrustmodelinHDFSwhichcanhelpthe masternodeselectdatanodesthatmeetstherequriementsofcreditvalue.Secondly,thedatatypein cloudstorageinvariousandtheapplicationswithitarenotthesame.Differentusersmayhave differentperformancerequirements,butHDFSsystemhasn’ttakenthediversityofdatainto account.Thispaperputsforwadadataclassificationmodelandestablishescorresponding performanceselectioncriteriaforeverytypeofdata.Thirdly,thecurrentHDFSassumesthatnodes inaclusterishomogeneousinnatureandallthenodeshavesameperformance.Butitisdifficultto satisfyinpracticalenvironmentandignorethedynamicchangesofnodeperformance. Therefore,thispaperputsforwardaperformanceevaluationmechanismwhichgivesareal-time performanceevaluationvalueforeverynodeincluster.Sothemasternodecanselecttheoptimal nodefordatastorage.Finally,throughtheexperimentsinHadoopplatform,theeffectivenessof improved data storage strategy has been proved.Key words: Cloud Storage, HDFS,TrustMo
