● 知识目标
1. 认读理解本课出现的现在分词listening, reading, playing ;并且能将已学的动词变成现在分词形式。
2. 能用“He/She’s ……”句型描述他人正在进行的活动。
● 能力目标:
通过本课学习初步理解现在进行时态 ,能将已学的动词变成现在分词形式,能用本节课的知识描述他人正在进行的活动。。
● 情感目标:
1.通过本课学习,教师要注意培养学生认真观察、关心他人的良好品质。
2.通过活动培养学生说英语、学英语的兴趣 四 、教材分析
教学重、难点:
1. 认读理解本课出现的现在分词listening, reading, playing;并且能将已学的动词变成现在分词形式。
2. 能用“He/She’s ……”句型描述他人正在进行的活动。
??五 、教学过程
● Warm-up:
Listen and do.
First the teacher says some verb phrases, for example:
Watch TV, read a book, listen to the music, play football…… Ask the pupils to do the correct actions. Then one pupil says, the others do actions.
Sing a song “Are you sleeping?”
● Lead in
Show an album. I have got some photos in this album
Have you got any photos? Daming has got some photos.
Who is in his photos? What are they doing?
Let’s learn this next.
● New teaching
1.Look at the pictures of Activity 1.Talk about them simply.
Who are they in the picture?
What’s in Daming’s hands?
2.Listen and find “-ing”.
Listening reading playing.
①Help the pupils read these words , the teacher write them on the blackboard. The pupils read them together.
②The teacher explains the meaning of “-ing”.
Listen-listening. read –reading , play-playing
③ Who can say out more verbs? The others adding.
e.g. watch TV – watching TV . sing a song – singing a song.
3. Listen and find the mew words.

Learn these new words.
4. Read the text.
①.Listen, point and repeat.
②.Practice , reading in pairs.
③.Read the text in pairs in front of the class.

Show the picture, Practice in pairs.

2.Read and match.
Read each sentence. Find the key words. Look at the pictures, carefully. Then match.
