Do not have object permanence. Preoperational stage the children are egocentric child at this stage who cant understand that others see the world in different ways children dont know conservation: the idea that some aspects of things changed, but other aspects remain the same. the concrete operation solve the conservation problem, but children are limited in abstract reasoning. formal operation stage Children could get abstract and scientific reasoning * * *
