香港性教育促進會簡介 Introduction to the Hong Kong Sex Education Association 緣起 多年來，我們一群來自家庭計劃、教育、社工、心理、 文學、哲學及醫療等行業的人仕，同感本地性教育嚴重 不足，妨礙醫療、社會、道德及文化發展，於是決定成 立香港性教育促進會，在八五年四月二十日登記為合法 社團。 Origin For many years, we in Hong Kong in the fields of family planning, education, social work, psychology, literature, philosophy and medicine have felt the immense inadequacy of sexuality education for local people and its negative impact on the medical, social, moral and cultural developments of Hong Kong. We decided to set up the Hong Kong Sex Education Association (HKSEA) and had it registered under the Societies Ordinance on April 20, 1985. 界說 香港性教育促進會認為性事包括一個人身為男性或女性 的各方面，一生不斷演變，反映在整個人格之內，而不 限於性器官。作為人格之一部份，性事與性生活中的生 理、心、社會、精神、文化等各種因素都息息相關，互 相影響。 17 Definition The HKSEA concept of sexuality refers to all those aspects of the human body that relate specifically to being male or female,and is an entity subject to life-long dynamic change. As a function of the total personality, sexuality, on the one hand, and the biological, psychological, sociological, spiritual and cultural factors of life, on the other hand, mutually influence each other. 原則 1．性事是人類一種基本而極為重要的功能，然而，性 經驗、性行為、性態度因文化異，可能引起各種爭議與 道德判斷。 2．性事的學習是終身的事，每人都有權在開放的環境 中得到性知識，都有權獲得計劃週詳的正規性教育，而 不用單靠各種非正規渠道暗中摸索。 3．正規性教育應計劃週詳，照顧各人每個發展階段的 需要，考慮不同的社會背景與價值觀，教人以負責任、 以合乎道德而又尊重個性的方式來享受和表達性愛。 4．良好的性教育可促進人的身心健康和人際關係。 5．電視及其他傳播媒介對社會的影響深遠而廣泛，正 規與非正規性教育均應善用之。 6．所有在醫療、社會科學、宗教、教育及輔導行業的 工作者皆應接受性教育。 Principles 1.
