Mid-term Exam * A surveyor is commissioned to conduct a level survey around an obstruction as shown in the above diagram. His first set up is at point X where he takes a reading on BM1 of 0.683. He then shoots readings at point A of 1.612, point B of 1.109 and C 0.985. He then moves his level to point Y where he shoots a reading of 1.531 on point C. He further takes readings of 2.432 on point D and 1.641 on point E. Finally he takes a reading on BM 2 to close the survey.
