ABSTRACTWith the continuing improvement of the quality of life, self-healthcare issue has been put more and more weight of concerning by people. On the other side, more and more people are now surfing on the internet as it has been considered as one of the most important approach for knowledge spreading. So it is applicable and necessary to share common sense of healthy and medical knowledge which is closely linked to people’s life through internet.Currently some medical websites introduce healthcare knowledge and medical common sense only with words or display the appearance of organs only on plane. The inner modality of human being’s organs cannot be displayed properly. In this article we base on the technical principle of virtual endoscope and import the concept of VE fly through. Research is performed on the web based technical of VE fly through. Based on the character of VE fly through and internet, we apply VRML ( virtual realism modeling language), Javascript script and ASP technique to construct a set of system with web based VE fly through. In this system knowledge searching function is implemented during user operation. Users can understand inner modality of human being’s organs lively and visually, learn medical common sense and healthcare knowledge. Furthermore, there is positive meaning in medical teaching. The details of this article are listed as below:(1)Research the technical route of virtual endoscopyand the system components.(2)Construction of models of human being’s organs. The segmented and simplified processed by 3D-DOCTOR Computed Tomography (CT) images are 3D reconstructed to reform VRML formate.(3) We deeply research the central route extract technique within virtual endoscopy.With on this technique web based path planning in wandering algorism has been raised.(4)We research the principle of implementing the interactive roving with VRML.
