The beach as one of the sites on which leisure activities carried is an important part of the coastal leisure activities.Compared with the rapid development of the coastal leisure activities, it is obviously that relevant academic researches especially from the perspective of tourism and leisure are deficient. Overall, the existing researches were mainly focus on the physical attributes of beach,such as analysis on the suitability for leisure activities on the beach and the development model of coastal tourism and leisure. However,there’s lack of research that based on the spiritual level which can used to analysis the relationship between beach users and beach during the interaction. In order to clarify this relationship, this paper introduced the theory of place attachment. In recent years, place attachment theory is the research emphasis in Environmental Psychology and Tourism Geography.
