Lesson 58 :Stop Pollution? 教学设计 一、教材分析 本课围绕环境保护这一话题展开,介绍了北美学生是如何采取施保护环境减少污染的。学生通过本课的学习,可以在完成学习任务的同时,增强环保意识,培养责任感。本课生词12个,语法是宾语从句。 二、教学思路 本课采用任务型教学法,通过多媒体课件图片展示以及问题引出保护环境的话题;让学生在学完生词后用练习加以巩固生词;学生通过阅读课文并就课文内容判断正误,让学生明确了一些做法的正确与否;通过完成图表,学生认清了环境污染的严重性,并积极想对策加以制止;最后的书面表达提高了学生综合运用语言的能力,同时也受到了一定的教育。 三、教学目标 1、知识目标 掌握词汇及短语:less, environment, least, waste, fix, throw away, take out, turn off 接触词汇及短语:reusable, pollute, leak, litre, leaky, tap, recycle, leak out 2、能力目标:培养学生听、说、读、写和综合运用语言的能力。 3、情感目标:增强学生的环保意识,培养责任感。 四、教学重、难点: 1、重点:(1)本课重点词汇和句型 ??(2)掌握保护环境的措施 2、难点: 让学生想更多措施保护好环境。 五、辅助资源:录音机、磁带、多媒体课件 六、教学过程: Step 1: Greeting. Step 2: Lead in. First ,show the students some pictures of different kinds of pollution, then ask : Do you like these places ? Why? The students answer . Then come to the topic:We should protect our environment and stop pollution. Write down the topic on the blackboard:Lesson 58: Stop Pollution! Step 3: Show pictures and learn new words. A.Picture1: The factory is pouring its waste water into the river. The dirty water has polluted the river. We should recycle and clean the water. Picture2: The tap is leaking . A leaking toilet can waste twenty to forty litres of water an hour . We must fix leaky toilets and taps. Picture3: Lets work together to make less or the least pollution and make our environment cleaner and more beautiful. The students read after the teacher , then read loudly and remember them.
