At last, the model has be tested and verified by a practical construction project, and the result shows its consistency with actual energy-saving design objective，which proves the feasibility and scientificity of the variable fuzzy sets theory in residential building energy-saving evaluation. Compared with other traditional evaluation methods, this method possesses such obvious advantages as tight logic, strong practical applicability and less calculation, and it provides a new way for dealing with the building energy-saving evaluation.
