Content of course 1.Hi, Gogo! ___1st_period Teaching Objectives
Listen and say the words: hungry, grandmother, short, ruler, thirsty, grandfather, tall ,stapler.
2.Sentenes: Are you hungry ? Yes, I am./Who’s she? She’s my grandmother. What’s that? It’s a stapler. What’s that? Is it a yet? Yes, it is. Teaching Key Points/Difficult Points 1.The word: listen, spead, read and write and the sentences : Master them and be able to use them. 2. Practice in groups . Teaching aids Word cards , pictures , paper , objects , recorder, tape Teaching procedure Review 1.Put picture Cards of Gogo ,Tony and Jennyonthe board. T:What’s his name? Who’s she? Model responses then elicit responses from Ss. 2.Put picture Cards of notebook, snake,on ,the board. Practice New Lesson T:Let’s look at the pictures and listen to the tape and repeat. Point to each picture as you say it .
Play the tape and have Ss repeat each word. Point to the picture of stapler. T:Stspler.(Ss: Stapler.) Point to the other pictures in random order. Say thewords and have Ss repeat. Practice in groups.
Game1:Place Picture Cards 1-8 along the board, picture side up.T:ashs part of a question, e.g. Are you …? then points to one kf the pictures ,e.g. thirty. Ss say the complete question,w.g. Are you thirty?
5. Game2 . Play “Bingo !” hungry, grandmother, short, ruler, thirsty…
