English AbstractObjective To investigate the expression of HLA-G in testicular cancer and to study the correlation of protein expression levels of testicular cancer and clinical and prognostic indicators.Methods The expression of HLA-G mRNA was evaluated by real-time quantitative PCR in tumor tissues and matched normal tissues obtained from 16 testicular cancer patients . HLA-G protein level was also detected in 56 paired mentioned samples by immunohistochemistry., and the relevance between clinicopathologic variables and HLA-G protein expression were also analyzed.Results HLA-G mRNA, as well as the protein, was over-expression in tumor tissues of Testicular Cancer but low expressed in normal testis. There are relevance between HLA-G protein expression and drade of differentiation (P0.05), TNM stage (P0.05), recurrence (P0.05). Kaplan-Meier survival analysis showed that there was statistically negatively correlation (P0.05) between the patients survival with HLA-G protein expression.Conclusion HLA-G expression can be suggestive significance of poor prognosis in patients with testicular cancer.
