ABSTRACTTheexplosionofinformationleadstothelargeInternetscalewhichexceedstheimaginationoftheoriginaldesigner.SoanewversionofIPneedstobedeveloped.IPv6whichhas128bitaddresssolvespartsoftheproblemssuchasaddressexhaustion,overloadingofbackbonerouters’routetablecapacity.ThechangefromIPv4toIPv6isahugeengineerandneedslotsofworkandtime.DuringthetransitionvarietiesofperformancetestisneededtoassuretheefficiencyandreliabilityoftheIPv6networkanddevicebecauseofthecomplexityofthenetworkenvironmentandimmaturetechnology.Performancetestprovidesdeviceandnetworkperformancedataforthehardwaremanufacturers、softwaredevelopersandnetworkusers.Itprovidesimportantbasisforthedevelopmentofservicequality,networkstructureandtheparameterconfiguration.ThispaperresearchtheperformancetestofnetworkdevicebasedonIPv6,whichaimsatprovidingacompleteperformancetestofIPv6networkdevice.Accordingtotheresearchofnetworktestingmethods,thechosenandanalysisofactivetestingandpassivetestingmethod,thechosenoftestingtoolanddevelopmenttool,developsakindofIPv6performancetestsystem.ThesystemselectsSNMP（SimpleNetworkManagementProtocol）fornetworkperformancemonitoring,researchtherequiredperformanceindex,designthedatabasetables,usesSNMPtoreadtheMIB（ManagementInformationBase）ofthemanagedobject,andthenanalysistheindexvalue.ThesystemusesSNMP++ofHPasthedevelopmenttoolandthedevelopmentlanguageisC++.Finallythepaperhaveaccomplishedthesoftwarepartofthesystemanddonesometestunderrealconditions.Thevalidityiscertificated.Keywords:IPv6,SNMP,PerformanceMonitoring目录摘要...........................................................................................................IAbstract........................................................................................................II1绪论1.1研究背景和意义.................................................................................(1)1.2国内外研究现状.................................................................................(1)1.3本文工作内容............................................................
