SWAPModelDistributedSimulationandForecastofSoilWaterandSaltDynamicinHetaoIrrigationDistrictUnderConditionofWater-savingIrrigationAbstractHetaoisoneoftheChinasdesignlargestirrigationareainInnerMongolia,isatypicalplacenoirrigationwillbenoagriculture.However,inasevereshortageofwaterresourcestoday,availablewaterresourcesinChinaarefacedwithincreasingscarcityoftheproblem,thewaterusedtoirrigationreducesyearbyyear,irrigationsoilsalinizationlevelincreasinglyheavier.Therefore,studyofsoilwaterandsaltspace-timeevolution,ForthedevelopmentoftheIrrigationDistrictirrigationstrategiesandsaltandwaterregulationandcontrolprograms,aswellastoensurethescientificimplementationofChinaslarge-scaleIrrigationDistrictworkstoprovideatheoreticalandappliedfoundation.Accordingtotheseproblems,itintroducedanewdistributedsimulationmethodthatcombiningSWAPmodelwithGISandRStechnology,undertheconditionsoftheshahao,itsimulatedspatialandtemporalevolutionofsoilwaterandsaltintheregionalscale,underthestatusquoirrigationandwater-savingirrigationtwoconditions,assesstheirrigationefficiency,providethebasisforthedevelopmentofwater-savingirrigationmethodsintheconditionsofwaterscarcity.Themainresearchresultswereasfollows:InthispaperusingofremotesensingsoftwareENVI4.7withArcGIS9.3,determinethedistributionpatternofthecropplantingstructureandspaceinshahao,getthewheat,cornsunflowergrowandothercropsacreage,cropplantingstructurewasaflowerarrangementshapeddistribution.Thesoiltype,soilsalttype,groundwaterdepthwasstudiedusingspatialinterpolationmethodofThiessenPolygon,InverseDistanceWeighted,andsurfaceanalysismethodinArcGIS9.3.Theresultsshowedthat:Salinizationofsoilandre-salinizationofsoilisonlyfoundinnorthernandcentralinthestudyarea,andtheareaislesser,Mostoftherestareasaremainlynon-salinizationofsoilandlightsalinizationofsoil.Thereareninetypesofsoilwithstrongspatialvariability.Thespatialdistributionpresentedflowerarrangementappearance.Thechangesofgroundwaterleverinyearrelatedtotheseasons.Thedepthincropgrowthperiodwaslowertha
