Classification of Lymphocytes T cells B cells NK cells T cells The abbreviation T stands for thymus, where they differentiate. There are 3 subsets of T cells: Cytotoxic T cells (Tc cells) Helper T cells (Th cells) Suppressor T cells(Ts cells) B cells:  They were first recognized in the bursa of Fabricius in birds or bursa-equivalent organs such as bone marrow. Participate in humoral immunity. NK cells Natural killer lymphocyte. They attack virus-infected cells,transplanted cells and cancer cells directly. Supporting cells They include reticular cells, Langerhans cells and epithelioreticular cells. Function:Form a loose meshwoks that lymphocytes,macrophages,and other cells reside in it. Antigen-presenting cell(APCs) APCs include dendritic cell (DC), macrophages and B cells. They capture and process antigens for presentation to T cells. Mononuclear phagocyte system (MPS) Composed of the cells that are derived from monocytes in blood. These cells have high capability to phagocytose.
