By u sing tho se E - IO tab les, the amoun t of total energy and total pollu tan ts em ission inten sities cau sed by exports of each sector are calcu lated, and the affecting factors on their change s are analyzed in two p eriod s. The resu lts reveal that the a moun ts of total energy and pollu tan ts em ission in ten sities in Ch ina ’s exports rise after the decrea sing in the first p e riod, and the affecting factors in two p eriod s are differen t. A ccording to the re su lts, th is p ap er pu ts forward som e corre sponding suggestion s for energy - saving em ission reduction policies in export - o
