AbstractGrainboundariesinpolycrystallinesilicon,inparticularbythemetalelementpollution,whichwillgreatlyreducetheperformanceofpolycrystallinesilicon,soincreasingthegrainsizeoftheingotisverymeaningful.Thispaperusesnumericalsimulationsoftwaretostudytherateanddistributionoftheflowfieldinthecrucible,combinedwiththesimulationresultsusingtheinsulationmethodandseededtopreparelargegrainpolysiliconingots.Inthispaper,themechanismofcrystalgrowthwasanalyzedanditsperformancewastestedtostudytheinfluenceofthegrainsizeontheirelectricalproperties.Thesimulationresultsshowthattheflowrateinthecruciblebecomeslarger
