General condition Definition: Shigellosis is also called bacillary dysentery, this is an acute bacterial disease characterized by fever, nausea 恶心, vomiting, cramps, diarrhea and feeling of tenesmus caused by Shigella species 志贺氏菌属. In most cases, the stools contain blood and mucus 粘液.
