英语辅导报 写作系列之…but…结构 在写作中，我们时常肯定一个，否定另一个，此时，我们可以使用not…but…结构。值得注意的是，not和but后使用相同结构。例如： It is not what happens to me that matters but what happens in me. 发生在我身上的事情并不重要，重要的是发生在我内心的事。 He isn’t happy on account of his riches, but on account of his good health. 他感到幸福，不是因为富有，而是因为身体健康。 A mother is not a person to lean on, but a person to make leaning unnecessary. 母亲并不是赖以依靠的人，而是使依靠变得没有必要的人。 Our greatest glory consists in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. 人最伟大的荣耀不在于未曾失败，而在于每次失败都能东山再起。 It is not that I dislike the film, but that I have no time for it. 不是我不喜欢这部电影，而是我没有时间。 2）neither…nor…结
