为了提高新疆民族教育的质量，新疆从1992年开始实施双语教育，到目前为止大多数地区几乎都有了自己的双语教学实验班，然而这么多年的双语实验却没有取得理想的效果；而对于广大没有力量实施双语教育的民族学校，如何促进师生的汉语水平及教育质量的提高呢？在单一的民族学校实行单一的民族教育，或即使实施双语教育，对学生的汉语水平和学校整体教学水平的提高，都有很大的制约性。很多人忽视了一点，我们有学习汉语的大环境。如何利用这个好环境？民汉合校可以作为解决这一问题的第一步。本文以《民汉合校研究——以米泉一中为例》为题，通过对米泉一中的民语部学生、教师以及家长的问卷调查，汉族教师、学生、管理者的访谈，较全面地了解了米泉一中的学生、教师、学生家长、和学校管理者对民汉合校的态度。以教育学、跨文化教育、双语教学、教育人类学的理论为指导，分析总结了米泉一中民汉合校的成功与不足，指出学校未实行双语教学的原因、学校现存的一些问题，并从跨文化教育的角度对民汉合校实践中存在的问题提出了对策建议，以求能够给新疆民族教育的发展提供借鉴和启示。关键词：米泉一中；民汉合校；InordertoenhancethequalityoftheXinjiangeducationforNationalminority,Xinjianghasimplementedthebilingualeducationsince1992,andsofarthemajorityareasnearlyhavehadtheirbilingualeducationexperimentalclasses.However,manyyears’bilingualexperimentactuallyhasnotmadegreatachievement.Asforthosenationalminorityschoolsthatdonothavestrengthandabilitytoimplementbilingualeducation,howdotheypromoteteachersandstudentsChineselevelandenhancetheeducationquality?Implementingtheunitaryeducationfornationalitiesintheunitarynationalminorityschool,or,evenifwecarryoutthebilingualeducation,thereisalsolimitationtotheimprovementofstudentsChineselevelandoverallteachingproficiencyoftheschool.ManypeoplehaveneglectedthatfactthatwehavetheenvironmenttostudyChinese.Howcanwemakeuseofthisfavourablecondition?TheMergingethnicschoolswithChineseschoolsmayserveasthefirststeptotakesolvethisproblem.WithatitleofAStudyontheMergingEthnicSchoolswithChineseSchools——TakeMiQuanNo.1SeniorHighSchoolasanExample,throughaquestionnairesurveytothestudents,theteachers,aswellassuperintendents,andtheinterviewswithChineseNationalityteachers,students,andsuperintendents,Iunderstandcomprehensivelytheattitudeoftheparents,thestudents,theteachersandtheschoolsuperintendentstowardstheMergingethnicschoolswithChineseschoolspointedoutthatthereasonwhytheschoolhasnotimplementedthebilingualeducation,andtheschool’sexitingproblems,andproposesthecountermeasuresuggestiontosolveexitingprolemsinpracticefromtheTrans-Cultureeducationsangleinordertoprovidesomereferencesandinspirationstothede
