AbstractThestressinfiberreinforcedcompositesistransferredthroughtheinterfaceofthefiberandthematrix,sothemechanicalpropertiesoftheinterfacialregionandthestresstransferbehavioroftheinterfaceplayanimportantroleinthemacroscopicmechanicalpropertiesofthewholecomposites.Asaresult,theinterfaceoffiberreinforcedcompositeshasalwaysbeenacriticalpartinengineering.Thispaper,focusedonfiber-concretecomposites,makessomeexperimentalstudiesontheinterfacialstressbehaviors,analyzesthemechanismofthefiberreinforcement,toughness,andfailure-resistance,anddiscussesthecharacteristicsandpatternsofthestressandstrainneartheinterface,andthereforetoprovidesomevaluableexperimentaldataforthesetupofinterfacialmechanicalmodeloffiber-concretecomposites.First,three-dimensionaldigitalphoto-elasticitymethodisusedtotesttheinterfacialresidualstressdistributionbetweenthelinearandspeciallydesignedhookedfiberandtheresinmatrix.Theresultsshowthatthevalueoftheinterfacialresidualshearstressreachesitspeaksnearthefiber’sembeddedendsintheinterfaceofthesinglefiberandthematrix,andtheinterfacialresidualstresstransferisalsoconcentratedaroundthetwoendsofthefiber.Second,thethree-dimensionalinterfacialshearstressnearastraightfiberunderthecombinedactionsofpulloutloadingandthermalresidualstressisstudied.Theinterfacialshearstresshasaparabolicdistribution,andthetransferringareamainlyfocusesontheregionoftheembeddedendofthefiberwherethestressreachesitscriticalpoint,causingthedebondingoftheinterface,andthentheshearstresstransfersalongtheimbeddedfiberlengthtotheotherend.Inaddition,theinterfacialsheerstresstransferbehaviornearaspeciallydesignedhookedfiberunderthecombinedactionsofpulloutloadingandthermalresidualstressismeasured.Thestresstransfermainlyfocusesontheregionoftheembeddedendofthefiberwherethestressreachesitscriticalpoint,causingthedebondingoftheinterface.Beforethedebonding,asthepulloutloadingincreases,thepeakvalueoftheshearstresstransfersalongthefiberfromtheimbeddedtoptotheinteriorofthematrix,andthenstopsatthehookedpartofth
