Under the power of net, the man constructs a colorful world. China has the worlds first network of power. The internet users enjoy themselves by exploring the net. In the network, a flood of information is gathering together becoming a vast and complex information field, which brings convenience to people as well as confusion, because a lot of bad information pollutes the network. If there is no scientific outlook of world, life and value to guide them, people may feel lost. The college students are a special group in the internet users. They have the capabilities to make use of the network, but they tend to be affected by it. Therefore, how to guide the college students and how to enhance the effectiveness of network ideological and political work in universities and colleges are becoming an important issue for the universities and colleges.Under the above-mentioned background, by studying the current circumstances of the network ideological and political work in universities and colleges, the article analyzes the problems on the basis of investigating the information in the area and the relevant research. The article also makes analysis of the five factors which affect the effectiveness of network ideological and political work in universities and colleges and summarizes the ideas and countermeasures to enhance the network ideological and political education in Chinese Universities and colleges.
