Terms and Conditions for “Venture Further” (Part of The University of Manchester Venture Competition) The submission of a Business plan via email constitutes a team’s acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Late registrations or business plan submissions will not qualify for the competition. “Venture Further” is open to all Undergraduate and Postgraduate students at The University of Manchester and to other people provided the Team entered complies with Clause 3. Each team should designate a Lead Entrant. Team Restrictions All Lead Entrants must be registered students of The University of Manchester as at 1st January 2009. The ‘Core Team’ shall comprise ‘the Lead Entrant’ and ‘the Team Members’ The Core Team must be included within the Management Team section of the Business Plan Only those listed in the Core Team within the Management Team section of the Business Plan may present to the judging panels At least 50% of the Core Team must be registered students of The University of Manchester as at 1st January 2009 Mentors may supplement the Core Team. There are no student registration restrictions on the Mentors. Mentors are not permitted to present to the judging panel, but may be available to answer questions following the presentation. “Venture Further” is run by the Manchester Enterprise Centre (MEC), which is part of The University of Manchester. The deadline for submission of Business Plans and the dates for judging and announcing the winning teams for “Venture Further” may be changed at the discretion of The University of Manchester.
