ABSTRACTDigital-to-AnalogConverter(DAC),whichtransfersdigitalcodesintoanalogsignals,isthebridgeconnectingdigitalworldandanalogworldtogether.Withtheextensiveapplicationofwirelesscommunicationsystems,ithasbeenatrendthatthedatetransferrateandthesignalbandwidthareincreasing.DAChasbecomeanindispensablemoduleofmodernwirelesscommunicationsystem,andisheadingforthedirectionofhighspeedandhighresolution.A12-bit200MSPSsegmentedcurrent-steeringdigital-to-analogconverterisproposedinthispaper,anditisimplementedundertheGlobalFoundry(GF)0.18μm1P6MCMOStechnology.Toachievetradeoffamongperformance,siliconarea,complexityandpowerconsumption,asplitwith5thermometermostsignificantbits,4thermometerupperleastsignificantbitsand3binarylowerleastsignificantbitsischosenforthisDAC.Aseriesofbinary-weightedsubsidiaryDACisimplementedtocalibratethe5MSBcurrentsourcearrayduetoitsrigorousmatchingrequirement.Thus,thestaticlinearityisobtainedwithoutoccupyingclockperiodorincreasingmuchadditionalcircuits.SomeofthekeymodulesoftheDACincludingbandgapreference,voltage-to-currentconverter,currentsourcearray,switcharrayandcalibrationcircuitareanalyzedindetailsinthispaper.Moreover,thedesignofthelayoutisintroducedatlength,includingtheutilizationofthehierarchicalsymmetricswitchingschemeandH-shapedlayoutofpowerlineanddigitalsignallinetoguaranteeandimprovetheperformanceoftheDAC.Thepowersupplyforanalogpartofthischipis3.3V,anddigitalpart1.8V.Thecoreareaofthischipislessthan1.44mm2.ThepreliminarytestresultsshowthattheDifferentialNon-Linearity(DNL)andtheIntegralNon-Linearity(INL)is±0.5LSBand±0.7LSBrespectively,andtheSpuriousFreeDynamicRange(SFDR)is75dBat1MHzsignalfrequencyand200MHZsamplingfrequency.Therefore,itprovestheproposedDACbasicallymeetsthedesignspecifications.KEYWORDS：Digital-to-AnalogConverter,Segmentedcurrent-steeringDAC,High-speedandhigh-resolution目录目录...................................................................................................................3第一章绪论...........................................
