MeasuringmethodsaboutaheavyrainonthebasisoftheprincipleoforificedischargeAbstractRainstormisoneofthemainmeteorologicaldisastersinChina,theharmmainlyincludesfloodandwaterloggeddisaster.Rainstormisakindofdisastrousweatherwhichhadabadimpact,continuousrainfallespeciallyrainstorminanareawillleadtourbanwaterlogging,cropshavebeenflooded,flashfloods,riveroverflowed,housingwasgrappling,transportandtelecommunicationsdisruptedandbringseriousimpacttotheproductionandlivingofpeople.Inrecentyears,eventsofdrowningpeoplecausedbyrainstormwaterloggingismorefrequently,broughtheavylossesoflivesandproperty.Therefore,inordertoprovidepowerfulbasistothecityconstructionandindustrialandagriculturalproduction,thewayoffurtherimprovingmeasurementaccuracyofstormrainfallisverynecessary.Tomeetdiversifieddemandofrainfallmonitoring,aimingatthedefectsofthestructureoftipping-bucketraingauge,thisarticlestudiedtherelationshipbetweenpressureandvelocitybyexperiment,establishedthemathematicalmodelofthepressureandflowrate.Designedtherainfallmeasuringcontrolprocessonthebasicofprincipleoforificedischarge:whentheinternalwaterofrainfallmonitoringsystemuptosetheight,valvewasopenedbymicrocomputer,watercameout,raingaugesynchronousmeasurementofrainfallatthesametime,Iftheheightofthewaterlowerthansetheight,thevalveclosedautomatically.Sowhentherainfallintensityissmall,thevalvedosenotneedtoopen,rainfallintensityistheoutputoftransmitter,itsmeasurementerrorislessthan1%FS.Whentherainfallintensityisbigger,thevalveneedtoopen,butalsoavoidthemeasurementerrorcausedbythelossofrain,theexperimentalresultsshowthatthemeasurementerrorislessthan8%FS.Thecharacteristicofthisdesignisthereisnotaflipstructure,avoidthemeasurementerrorcausedbytheflipstructure.Implementationcostislow,canachievethefunctionoftheautomaticmeasurementofrainfallinformation,themeasurementerrorwillnotchangebythechangeofrainfallintensity,providesanewmeasurementmethodforrainstormmeasurement.Thisrainstormmeasuringmethodscanbeusedtomeasuretherainfallindifferentregions,pr
