The software was originally developed for hearing instrument manufactures, dental and orthodontic labs and clinics. However the software is also well suited for virtually all areas that involve production resembling mass customization. 3Shape CAMbridge is available for a range of RP machines. In this guide, the General RP Machine interface is used as an example. Note that the options may differ somewhat depending on which type of machine you are using. This new CAMbridge 2014 version introduces several important additions and improvements. They include support for local order materials from the Dental Manager interface, CAMbridge Client for DentalManager, production of screw retained crowns, improved margin line editing process, option to export job as one big STL file (including all items and supports) for DWS (Digital Wax Systems), 64-bit compatibility, option for setting the ID tag start number for the sequence of item IDs, group materials, improved multilayer settings for 3D printers, and now installer automatically stops/closes CAMbridge Assistant. CAMbridge supports 10 languages: English, German, French, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Russian, Korean, and Portuguese (Brazilian).
