AbstractWiththecontinuousdevelopmentofthenationaleconomy,theelectricitycustomers’requirementforamorereliableandstabledistributionnetworkhasbecomehigher.Bychangingtheopeningandclosingstateofthefeedersectionswitchandcontactswitchtochangetheoperationofthenetworkstructure,reconfigurationimprovesecurity,reliabilityandeconomyofpowersystemnetwork.Thispaperestablishesadistributionnetworkoptimizationreconfigurationmathematicalmodel.Byanalyzingtheeconomicbenefitsanddegreeofdifficulty,thispaperchosenetworkpowerlossasobjectivefunctionofthedistributionnetworkoptimizationreconfiguration.Selectionintheinitialtreenetworkgeneratedtheassociatedmatrixdiscriminationandtoestablishanetworkofradiationgeneratedintheiterativeprocess.Byanalyzingtheadvantagesanddisadvantagesofthevariousflowcalculationmethod,thispaperselectforwardandbackwardflowcalculationmethod,andthenthepaperanalyzetheconvergenceofthepowerflowcalculation.Combinedwiththetraditionalantcolonyalgorithmfordistributionnetworkoptimizationreconfiguration,thispaperproposestheideaofapplyingMax-Minantcolonyalgorithmtothedistributionnetworkreconfigurationbyanalyzingthedefectsoftraditionalantcolonyalgorithm.Thepaperestablishesnewpheromoneupdatingmethodthatonlyeliteantsareallowedtoupdatepheromone,andthenthepaperlimitstherangeofthepheromonebyprovidingtheupperandlowerlimitedvalue,whatnotonlygreatlyreducethepossibilityofthealgorithmfallintoalocaloptimum,butalsoimprovetheconvergencespeedofthealgorithm.ForapplyingMax-Minantcolonyalgorithmtodistributionnetworkoptimizationreconfiguration,weprogrammingalgorithmprocessesusingMATLABm-file.Inconvenientofcomparison,thispaperselectsAmericanPGE69-nodesystemasthereferencesystemfortesting.Comparedwithotherintelligentalgorithmsandavarietyofimprovedantcolonyalgorithm,theanalysisresultsshowthat:thereisanobvioussuperioritybetweentheMax-MinantcolonyalgorithmandothersalgorithmsinDistributionNetworkOptimizationReconfiguration.Finally,thispaperanalyzesthewaythattheparametersettingsaffectthealgorithmresults,reach
