Research and DeveJopment of Architecture materials TestingManagement Information System Specialty: lndustrial Engineering Name: Zhang Weilnstructor: Lu CaiwuZhangLinxuAbstractln consideration of the real condition in industry ， an Management l formation System (MIS) for the Building Material lnsp巳ction Center in Xian University of Architecture and Technology has been developed. In the process ， the concept of development. basic principles and methods in the structure and system development for management information system were applied. This development is invaluable in practice : it enables staff 01the Inspection Station to communicate with each other faster and on time ， makes information management a reality and improves its level of management in the Inspection Center. According to the cuηent condition of lhis Center ， browser/server :;tructure is applied in this system ， and full information management in the Center has been achieved. This developed system can serve in LANplatform ， and also can execute the functions such as consignation . admission fee charging. original data recording ， test data calculation ， examination and endorsement from leadersh.ips，report organization ， report printing ，etc.，based on WAN platform. Characteristics ofthis developed system are as follows:(1) Browerlserver，instead of traditional Client /server ，was applied in the developmentprocess. This application makes development more convenient and effective ，and enables more than ten people to cooperate in this developing process. Due to th，variou$ layers ofthe B/S structure. maintenance workloadis highly reduced .。A)SP (Active Server Pages). ACCESS and Dreamweaver were applied in the system.Due to its many functions and strong technical support ， flexibilityand efficiency were improved.(3) According to th巳 aetual condition ofthe Cent时.
