In fact, I regret much not consult a brief introduction and background before this movie so that when I checked in the library for two days about Lawrence and this movie, wanting to watch it again although some scenes in the movie are almost made me cry. So I decide to try my best to write seriously about Lawrence and this film, and make it perfect. True Lawrence, rather than in the movie, is a nobler and better people. But the movie is not about a real soul of Lawrence, it is just a story. Lawrence抯 name and experience is just a carrier, and the true story of Lawrence is needed, even though it is not fair no matter for our impression on him or for Lawrence himself. However, Lawrence抯 out of control in Tafas is somewhat abrupt. He has been described as a soft and wise man with extremely strong self-control which is quiet different with his behavior in the movie. And Lawrence confess that he likes killing, in private, I think it is like a cream cake on the mustard. I really can抰 agree to it. Maybe this is so-called British humor. Just finishing this movie, I thought it is like a dramatic parabola, using three classes 憇 time to narrate the dramatic rising and down. But after knowing more about Lawrence and the movie, I find this is misunderstand, it is actually a bitter drug wrapped with sugar and left pain only. The Lawrence of Arabia is divided into two.The first part is filled with success and brightness, and the second part is the process of failure and tragedy. When I first watched it, I thought the movie is exploring the way a man抯 heart going : how will a noble and tough mind guide a person to glory and how his flaw makes his fall. Surely, it is not the real purpose if this movie. If we estimate Lawrence with vulgar success and failure, he will be just a small potato.
