President’s victory speech fully embodies the president’s personal style. This paper analyses the Barack Obama’s victory speech on Nov.4, 2008, from the perspectives of language, rhetoric, thinking and arts style. Political speeches are speakers’ speeches to clarify their political positions and opinions according to the political situations at home and abroad. American president’s political speeches have always been concerned by linguists. As the first black president in the history of the United States, Obama took office in the special historical period of the United States. His victory speech is of great importance.
