The international school pays great attention to the student individuality development, advocate multicultural education, pays great attention in molding the student moral character. Looking at the present international school music curriculum, the parents have begun to emphasis on the student music accomplishment, and students also have certain musical instrument skill, but mostly the Western musical instrument primarily. Many international schools have the wind and stringed musical instruments philharmonic orchestra in their school curriculum, but only a few schools teach Chinese philharmonic orchestra. The Chinese folk music is part of the multicultural education, it is vital to introduce Chinese cultural music to the international students.
