OEM industry is an epitome for resource integration. The OEM companies often hold different specialty and work closely to make sure products delivered to customer in time. In 1990’s, OEM companies in Taiwan produced 90% of notebooks all over the world. After 2000, they moved to mainland and made great development, especially in Changjiang and Zhujiang delta zones. However, after the economic crisis in 2008, under global economic depression, top brand notebook companies incurred heavy losses and the notebook OEM industry was hurt considerably from the global recession.The Quality Master Dr. Juran claimed that ―21st century as the century of quality‖. As Smart phone, PAD, smart TV, etc. provide more choices to customer, the electronic industry enters the PC+ times. How to react to new situations with fierce competition becomes vital for all enterprises. OEM companies compete on quality, focusing on product quality, service quality, and process quality. They use new technologies, new processes, and new materials to improve efficiency when new products are developed through technology innovations. Total Quality Management has been implemented to improve product and service quality in order to satisfy customers. Only in this way can they remain succeed in the long run.Firstly, this thesis uses PEST and SWOT models to analyze the internal and external challenges of Quanta Computer ltd. Then the operations strategy of Quanta Computer ltd. is analyzed by using the SWOT model, i.e., the multi-business strategy. After that, I analyze the quality management status in Quanta Computer ltd and identify the mismatch between company strategy and its quality strategy, that is, focusing too much on
