同义反译的翻译方法 英语和汉语中均有从正面或方面来表达一种概念的现象。翻译时，英语里有些从正面表达的词和句子，译文中可从反面来表达；英语里有些从反面来表达的词或句子，译文中又可从正面来表达。 一、原文用肯定语气，译文用否定语气（正话反说） （一）动词 Such a chance was denied me. deny: refuse to give someone or prevent someone from having sth. asked for or wanted. 我没有得到这样一个机会。 She was irritated at being denied the opportunity to get a pay rise. 她没有得到涨工资的机会，非常生气。 You have roused my curiosity.
