Book Report ——Pride and Prejudice The Background of Austen Jane Austen (1775-1817) was born in a village of Kingston, England. She was a beautiful, talented middle class woman with extraordinary temperament and good cultivation. Her six novels are all describe about marriage while her marriage is like a blank paper in her 42 years real lifetime. The Main Role. Elizabeth ,the actress of the novel, an ,wise young girl from the lower-classes of the country. She doesn’t like anyone who is contumelious, she hates the spurs from the pride men.  Mr. Darcy ,the actor of the novel ,a nobleman from the upper-classes in England, because of this , he has an inborn superiority that he looks down at every person from the lower-classes . The Progress of Pride and Prejudice Step 1: Beginning In the ball, Darcy said, she is fairly pretty, but not good-looking enough to tempt me. 达西先生的傲慢使得伊丽莎白开始产生了对他的偏见。 The Progress of Pride and Prejudice Step 2: Deepen (1)Wickham slander Darcy. 伊丽莎白对达西先生的厌恶更深一层 (2)Mr.Bingley suddenly leave Jane. 伊丽莎白误认为是达西先生造成的，因此更讨厌他了。 (3) Mr. Darcy reveal his love to Elizabeth, but he still use a prejudice tone. 他依旧的傲慢使得伊丽莎白说：“You were the last man in the world whom I could ever be prevailed on to marry.” The Progress of Pride and Prejudice Step 3: Ending At the end of the novel , Darcy change his character and Elizabeth find out what Darcy had done to her , they eventually get together. 4 other marriages in this book. Mr. Bennet and Mrs. Bennet ------hasty love Bingley and Jane -----profane love Wickham and Lydia ----carnal love Collins and Charlotte ---material love What can we learn from the book? In the way of finding love, we must strengthen our faith ,we should not married a person only because his money or his fame. Once you find the right person ,please hold on or you will regret forever.
