美国“好公民”教育，简言之就是关于美国社会如何教育公民成为具有“强烈的对国家的忠诚感”，具有“尊重、责任心、可靠、关心、公平、正义、公民美德与素质”等核心价值观，具有“美国国民精神”，具有“民主理念和民主行为的道德成熟的”，并且能够以自觉的态度及正确的方式参加社会政治生活的公民的过程。美国“好公民”教育经过几百年的探索和积累，已经积累了丰富的经验，在培养美国社会的好公民、促进美国经济繁荣富强和实现美国社会的政治目标中，发挥着独特的功能。本文在运用马克思主义思想政治教育的相关理论基础之上，运用文献研究法和比较研究法等进行探讨和评析。论文首先对美国“好公民”教育的概念、目标内容及与我国思想政治教育的相同点和不同点作了说明，其次总结了美国“好公民”教育的基本特征，包括内容方面、途径和方法方面及评估体系方面的基本特征，再次分析了美国“好公民”教育取得的成效和存在的主要问题，并对取得成效和存在问题的原因作了简单分析，最后结合当前我国思想政治教育中存在的问题提出了六个方面的改进措施，以期我国思想政治教育取得更大的实效。关键词：“好公民”教育；思想政治教育；启示UnitedStatesgoodcitizeneducation,inshort,ItishowtoeducatetheUnitedStatescitizensintoagoodcitizen,whichiswithstrongsenseofloyaltytothecountry,withrespect,responsibility,reliability,care,fairness,justice,civicvirtueandQualitycorevalues,andwhopossessthespiritoftheAmericanpeoplewithademocraticidealsofdemocracyandmoralmaturity,andabletoself-correctattitudeandthewaycitizensparticipateinthesocialandpoliticallifeoftheprocess.UnitedStatesgoodcitizeneducationthroughseveralhundredyearsofexplorationandaccumulation,haveaccumulatedawealthofexperienceintraininginAmericansocietygoodcitizens,topromoteeconomicprosperityandstrengtheningoftheUnitedStatesandtheUnitedStatestoachievethepoliticalobjectivesofthecommunitytoplayauniquerole.Inthispaper,applyingtheMarxistideologicalandpoliticaleducationonthebasisofthetheory,thestudyofliteratureandcomparativestudiesofmethodstoexploreandassess.AtfirsttheUnitedStatesgoodcitizeneducationconcepts,objectives,contentandourcountrysideologicalandpoliticaleducationofthesamepointandgaveanexplanationofdifferentpoints,followedbytheUnitedStatesconcludedthegoodcitizeneducationbasicfeatures,includingcontent,channels,andmethodsofevaluationsystemsandthebasiccharacteristicsoftheUnitedStatesonceagaingoodcitizenandtheeffectivenessofthiseducationarethemainissues,andtheexistenceandsuccessofthecauseoftheproblemwassimpleanalysis,thefinalconnectionwiththeideologicalandpoliticaleducationinChinaThequestionsThattheproposedsixmeasuresforimprovementwithaviewtoChinasideologicalandpoliticaleducationtoachi
