AbstractWiththedevelopmentofcomputertechnology,nowitistheageofnetwork.ThedatastoragemethodchangedfromDirectAttachedStorage(DAS)toNetworkAttachedStorage(NAS)andStorageAreaNetwork(SAN).NASsystemiseasiertouseandcanbeimplementedcrossplatform,whichmakesitnotonlyusedinbusinessfield,butalsobepopularinmanypersonalapplications.Thelegacyharddriveasthemediafordatastorage,hasmanydisadvantagesduetoitsmechanicalproperties.Likethemismatchingbetweendriveread/writespeedandmemoryspeed,themismatchingbetweenprocessorspeedanddriveI/Otransitionspeed,randomdriveaccessresponsetimeislongandtransitionblockissues.Aboveissuesmadethedrivebecomethebottleneckofstorageperformance.RedundantArrayofIndependentDisksystemwasproposedtosolveaboveissuesbyusingdriveparalleling,likemirroringorspreadstripetechniques,toimprovetheperformance,andparitycheckingtechniquestoimprovethesystemstability.RAID5systemhasbetterFaulttolerancecapabilityandlowercostaboveallRAIDlevels.buttheRAIDsystemperformancecanstillnotmeetthedemandduetothecomplexsoftwarearchitectureandcomplicatedtransitionprocedures.Therandomaccessandsmallwriteperformancestillcanbeimproved.ThisthesisfirstintroducesthebasicknowledgeofRAIDdevelopmentanddifferentRAIDlevels.Importscacheoptimizationmethod,byusingoptimizedcombinationofrandomaccessdataanddynamiccacheadjustment.Afterthat,isusetheparitymasktabletoimprovethesmallwriteperformanceinRAIDsystem.Andfinally,thisdissertationsetupsasystemtotesttheCacheadjustingstrategyandPMTmarkingmethods,givesdetailedanalysistotheresults.Keywords:Diskarray,Cache,RAID目录摘要.......................................................................................................................IABSTRACT.............................................................................................................II第1章绪论.........................................................................................................11.1课题背景及研究的目标............................................................................11.2国内外研究现状和发展趋势.....
