China’s foreign language teaching situation in schools 2.1 An overview of the school about foreign language teaching in China At present, there are nearly 2 hundred million students including in primary school, middle school and high school. Only 47 thousands of them learn Japanese and Russian, and the rest of them learn English. Offering English in primary school is increased year after year.
