安徽安徽财经大学硕士学位论文 1 1 2 2 RESEARCH ON DEVELOPMENT OF ONLINE CHARITY ABSTRACT Online charity is the hottest and fastest growing field of Chinas charity. New media, such as Microblog, have undoubtedly triggered potential charity resources in non-governmental circles and ushered in a new era for Chinas charity. From online solicitation by individuals in the initial stage to the newly shaped online charity organizations, online charity has opened up a road for popular charity. While it has been developing so rapidly, illegality and lack of standardization have emerged from online charity, turning itself into a ground which breeds cheat and fraud. Thus, as other newly-born things, it must be guided and normalized. Combining qualitative method and quantitative method, this paper defines online charity, analyzes online charitys operation mechanism by successful case free lunch, measures online charitys developing level with SPSS17.0 and discusses the existing problems and related strategies of online charity. Chapter one, introduction. It elaborates the sense and general situation of the study, explains domestic and international research backgrounds, relevant concepts of online charity and so on. Chapter two, analysis of online charitys contents. It discusses social needs and conditions which nurture online charity, clarifies its attribute technically and socially and makes its characteristics and advantages distinct. Chapter three, analysis of online charitys operating mechanism. Based on a successful case free lunch of online charity, it states the operating process and creative mechanism. The author chooses mechanism of mobilization, encouragement, organization, management and supervision to compare online charity and traditional charity. Chapter four, empirical research of online charitys development. By the data acquired from questionnaire, it studies awareness and participation of online charity among general public with the conclusion: Young and well-educated people
