In many areas such as the non-grid-connected wind power, fuel cell power generation, electricity transmission engineering equipment, the DC/DC converters need to meet the design requirements for high input voltage. In these systems, which need high voltage DC/DC power conversion system, the main difficulty is the high input voltage. Currently, solutions to high-voltage input DC conversion mainly as the following: (1) through a series devices to withstand high voltage; (2) the use of multi-level converter high voltage input; (3) the use of the input side series (ISOP) multi-mode converter module combination. This paper focuses on two of the above example, and then analyse the point of view through simulation. In this paper, the third chapter demonstrated the advantages of three-level soft-switching in high voltage transmission through the three-level soft switching DC-DC converter. IGBT tube can drop halve, and can achieve soft switching in a wide range. Achieving soft switching allows losses on the tube greatly reduced, thus greatly reducing the pipe heat, greatly enhancing the performance of the converter. Therefore, the three-level soft switch in thousands of volts of engineering equipment is widely used, there are advantages in achieving high-power transmission.
