Ab Abstract - - II - Abstract With the development of communicaio n thechnology, there is a lot of communication means today. Although wireless networking’s flexibility have a great advantag, but this make the expense of the effic iency of network transmission.So to improve the efficency of wireless communication has become more and more important. According to the above reasons, this paper first studied the characteistics of the wireless communication, and find the reason why wireless communication has low efficency.Then the paper analysis various technologies to solve such problems.In the end, our system uses a common way called PEP way to achieve our needs.The main features of the PEP software is that it can not need to change the communication end system and network comunications equipments, so this maintain the independence of the existing communication links. PEP software need two main features as wireless communication protocol and a transport layer proxy, wireless communication protocols is a transpaort layer protocal that has been improved to make itsuitable for wireless communication environment in order to reach faster data transmission;the use of transport layer agent is used to guarantee the independence of the original communication end system, the end system do not need to make any change. For wireless communication protocols,after some research, we chose the SCPS-TP protocol.This protocol has become the U.S military standards and the standards of the interational organization for standardization.A series of standard TCP protcol in wireless communication has been improved,while maintaining interoperabilit y with the IP protocol.The paper will give the argreerment a specific improvement,about its theoretical basis,and give its detailed design and impleentation.
