Study on Rotor Profile Design of Screw Compressors

Abstract: In this paper ，the tooth profile normal line method is used to demonstrate the design process of rotor
profile of screw compressors step-by-step and to derive the Fusheng Profile in detail． It proves the reliable and
convenient of tooth profile normal line method in the design of screw rotor profile． Then the profile design method
superior to the traditional envelope analysis method is obtained．
